High school track roundup from Thursday — Clear Lake wins Roland-Story boys track meet

STORY CITY — The Clear Lake boys track team won the Roland-Story Relays team title on Thursday. The Lions had 120 points, eight better than second-place Denver, with Nevada finishing third with 89. Landyn Lewerke was a double-winner, picking up victories in the discus and shot put. Alex Kerr won the 100. Clear Lake was first-and-second in the high jump with Bradyn Watkins winning and Sam Howland finishing runner-up. The Lions also picked up a win in the 4×400 relay. Full results click here
BONDURANT — The Mason City High boys track team finished 5th at the Bondurant-Farrar Boys Invite on Thursday with 76 points. Des Moines Roosevelt won the team title with 127.5. The Riverhawks had two individual champions with Henry Hansen in the 3200 and Cade Meyer in the shot put. Mason City also picked up a victory in the 800 Medley Relay. Full results click here
