NIACC men sit in 10th place heading into final day of district tournament

SIOUX CITY — The NIACC men’s golf team is in 10th place after the second day of the North Central District Championship at the Whispering Creek Golf Course. NIACC’s two day total is 627 after shooting a 317 on Monday.

Kirkwood leads the district tournament with a 581, while Northeast Community College is second one shot back. Southeast Community College is third with a 591.

The top three teams and the top three individuals not on qualifying teams and in the top 17 qualify for the national tournament.

Bennett Berger is in a tie for 24th place with a 152, while Garrett Ham is tied for 29th with a 154.
