Clear Lake council to meet in special session tonight to continue city administrator discussion

CLEAR LAKE — Clear Lake’s City Council meets in a special closed session tonight as they try to agree on who the next city administrator for the community will be.
The three finalists for the position — acting city administrator Jacob Widman, Charles City’s city administrator Steven Diers, and Hampton’s city manager Ron Dunt — all took part in interviews during a closed session of the council back on Saturday, but the council did not come away from that meeting with a decision on who would be appointed to the position.
The council meets tonight at 5:30 in the conference room at City Hall, and once again, it is a closed session.
