NIACC men’s golf finish 10th at district tournament
SIOUX CITY — The NIACC men’s golf team had their season come to a close on Tuesday after placing 10th at the North Central District Championship at the Whispering Creek Golf Course in Sioux City.
NIACC shot a three-day total of 936. Kirkwood won the district title with an 868. Sophomore Bennett Berger had NIACC’s best score with a total of 226, finishing tied for 19th place. Garrett Ham tied for 27th with a 231.
Kirkwood as well as the other top three teams Northeast Community College of Nebraska and Southeast Community College of Nebraska now head to the Division II national tournament in Plymouth Indiana May 20th through the 23rd.
