MASON CITY — Clear Lake won the North Central Conference boys golf tournament title on Monday at the Legacy Golf Course in Mason City. The Lions had a team score of 303, 11 shots better than runner-up Webster City and 18 shots better than third-place Algona. Clear Lake senior Eli Anderson and Algona sophomore Nathan Manske tied for the medalist honors with a 74.
FORT DODGE — Clear Lake also captured the North Central Conference girls golf tournament title at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge on Monday. It’s the fifth consecutive year the Lions have won the NCC title as they shot a 380, 10 strokes better than Algona. Clear Lake junior Elle Ebeling shot an 86 to win the medalist honors.
