Mason City finishes seventh at Iowa Alliance Conference girls golf tournament

WATERLOO — The Mason City High girls golf team finished seventh at the Iowa Alliance Conference tournament at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo on Tuesday.

Ames was the team champion with a 337, Marshalltown was runner-up with a 348, with Des Moines Roosevelt being third with a 367. Mason City had a 450.

Blair Smith had the Riverhawks’ best round, shooting a 102.

Mason City travels to the Fort Dodge Girls Invitational on Friday before playing next Wednesday in the Class 4A Region 4 tournament at Pheasant Ridge in Cedar Falls.
