MASON CITY — A ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony takes place this morning for the Murphy Park Trail and Bridge over the Winnebago River in Mason City.
It’s the latest addition to the $4 million Prairie Rock Trails System to be unveiled. The grand opening of the 240-foot pedestrian bridge and trail over the river is adjacent to the Muse Norris Park and Softball Complex.
The event takes place at 10 o’clock this morning at the intersection of 2nd Northeast and North Ohio Avenue.
