Mason City man pleads not guilty to drug, firearm charges

MASON CITY — A Mason City man has pleaded not guilty to drug and firearm charges.
50-year-old RT Harris was taken into custody on April 25th after authorities executed a search warrant at 1428 North Adams, where they allegedly found ice methamphetamine, marijuana and a stolen firearm.
Harris was charged with: possession with the intent to deliver meth, a Class C felony; possession of a firearm by a felon and trafficking in stolen weapons, each a Class D felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Harris filed a written plea of not guilty on Monday in Cerro Gordo County District Court. No trial date was immediately listed in court records.
Harris remains in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $45,000 cash-only bond.
