MASON CITY — The 86th Annual North Iowa Band Festival starts its five-day run in downtown Mason City today.
The night will feature two band concerts at the Principal Pavilion to open the event. The John Adams Middle School Band will perform starting at 6 o’clock, followed by the opening concert of the 101st season of the Mason City Municipal Band at 6:45 PM.
Food vendors downtown will be open from noon until 8:00 PM, while the carnival in the City Hall parking lot will be open from 6:00 to 8:00 PM this evening.
