MASON CITY — Girls regional final golf meets were held on Wednesday in all four classes:
== Newman was the team champion at the 1A Region 3 meet at Highland Park in Mason City. The Knights had a score of 351, with Lake Mills finishing second with 369 also to qualify as a team for state. Reagan Ham of Lake Mills was the medalist with an 80. Gabriella Buscher of Bishop Garrigan was the runner-up with an 83. Maci Meyer of St. Ansgar also was an individual state qualifier as she finished tied for third with an 85. Sami Kruckenberg had Newman’s lowest score of an 86.
== New Hampton won the Class 2A Region 2 meet at Rice Lake in Lake Mills with a team score of 336. Central Lyon finished second with a 369. Garner-Hayfield-Ventura finished third with a 375. Lauren Nuss of New Hampton was the medalist with a 75. Sydney Helgeson of Garner-Hayfield-Ventura qualified for state as an individual as she finished third with an 83.
== Clear Lake finished third at the 3A Region 1 meet at the Buena Vista Golf Course in Storm Lake. MOC-Floyd Valley won the team title with a 328 with Sioux Center being the other team state qualifier being the runner-up with a 362. Clear Lake finished one shot behind Sioux Center. The Lions’ Elle Ebeling finished tied for second with an 80 and qualified for the state tournament.
== Mason City finished sixth at the 4A Region 4 meet at Pheasant Ridge in Cedar Falls. Western Dubuque was the team champion with a 341, with host Cedar Falls two shots back in second place. Mason City ended with a 422. Ava Watson had the Riverhawks’ lowest score, finishing in a tie for 20th with a 98.
