MASON CITY — An Alden woman is in the Cerro Gordo County Jail after being charged with ongoing criminal conduct.
A criminal complaint states that 19-year-old Sarina Burgin committed multiple thefts from multiple retail stores in Mason City over the last 30 days, specifically on May 31st, June 7th and June 16th.
The complaint says the thefts demonstrate a pattern of ongoing and consistent behavior, each involving the concealment and unlawful removal of merchandise without payment.
Burgin was arrested on Monday in Mason City and taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail, where she’s being held on a total bond of just under $25,800.
