MASON CITY — The Mason City Noon Rotary Club has announced the recipient of the club’s “Be Like Bill” award. It honors someone within the club who exemplifies the spirit of Rotary through their selfless service and unwavering commitment to community.
The award recipient offers a helping hand when needed, they volunteer in the name of Rotary, advocate for Rotary when the opportunity presents itself, bring in new members, and most importantly they live life by the Rotary Four Way Test.
Don O’Connor was honored as being ever present, always looking to help out at Rotary events, desires opportunities to volunteer as a Rotarian, and seeks new members in the community to better the club.
