State softball — two champions crowned, three more state title games today

FORT DODGE — The state softball tournament ends its five-day run in Fort Dodge today, with two champions being crowned last night and three other title games on the slate for today:

Class 5A Championship – Waukee Northwest 1, Linn-Mar 0
Class 5A Third Place – Ankeny Centennial 10, Cedar Falls 2

Class 4A Championship – Pella 4, North Polk 2
Class 4A Third Place – North Scott 2, ADM 1

2:30 p.m. – Class 3A Championship – Dubuque Wahlert vs Williamsburg
1:00 p.m. – Class 3A Third Place – PCM vs. Albia

5:00 – Class 2A Championship – Van Meter vs West Lyon
3:30 – Class 2A Third Place – West Fork vs Louisa Muscatine

7:30 – Class 1A Championship – Wayne vs Clarksville
6:00 – Class 1A Third Place – Riverside vs. St. Edmond
