Margaret Kay “Peggy” Fuller, 80, passed peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore
Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St NE Mason City, Iowa, with Deacon Jim Wolf officiating. Burial will
follow in the Bohemian Cemetery, Plymouth, Iowa.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore
Colonial Chapel.

Peggy was born on April 7, 1945, in Mason City, Iowa, to Julius Fitzl and Mary Anne Frisch. She
attended Newman Catholic High School in Mason City, Iowa and, after graduation, moved to
Wisconsin to study and become a medical records technician. It was during this time that she
met Charles Fuller, whom she would later marry.

Together, Peggy and Charles spent the next 25 years traveling with the United States Air Force.
Once their sons, Ed and Chris, were old enough, both Peggy and Charles became actively
involved in Boy Scouts, contributing both overseas and in the United States. After Charles
retired from the Air Force, the family settled in Wichita, Kansas, where Peggy continued her
work at the McConnell Air Force Base hospital until her retirement. Following Charles’ passing,
she returned to live in Plymouth, Iowa.

Peggy had a true talent for gardening and was known for her green thumb. She also loved to
crochet, bake, and cook. She enjoyed watching sports, especially cheering for the Kansas City
Chiefs, and had a passion for travel. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her
family.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother “Ma,” great-grandma, and a friend to many.
Peggy was known for her selfless nature and was always willing to lend a hand to those in
need. Though she was small in stature, she was incredibly strong both physically and mentally.
Very little intimidated her, and her strength and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone
who knew her.

Peggy is survived in life by her two sons, Edward and Chris, with their wives Laura and
Tammy; grandchildren, Amanda (Justin) Swanberg, Stephen Fuller, Ariel (Tristian) Schiro,
and Julius Fuller; great grandchildren, Kira, Hiro, Fiona, Samuel, Severus, Evie, Delilah,
Christopher and Anthony; brother, Dennis (Jean) Fitzl; nieces, Dianna and Debra; nephew,
DJ; her faithful companion, Charlie her yorkie; as well as the friends she made along the
way and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Charles Fuller.
