Cedar Falls man accused of child sexual abuse in Cerro Gordo County from 2010-13 arrested

MASON CITY — A Cedar Falls man is in the Cerro Gordo County Jail after being accused of committing multiple acts of child sexual abuse over a decade ago.

42-year-old Isaia Weber is charged with four counts of second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years on each charge.

A criminal complaint filed by Mason City police last week stated that Weber allegedly committed sexual abuse to a child under the age of 13 multiple times between June 2010 and December 2013.

Weber was arrested on a warrant on Thursday and transported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail, where he’s being held on $50,000 cash-only bond.

Weber is due in court for his preliminary hearing on August 15th.
