Michael V. Pedelty, 63, of Palmetto, Florida, kissed his family and peacefully entered the presence of his Lord and Savior
on August 4, 2025.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday August 19th, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church, 112
North 4th Street, Clear Lake, Iowa, with Lay Minister Al Berge officiating; the family will host a luncheon in the church
fellowship hall following the service.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., on Monday, August 18th, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 North
4th Street, Clear Lake, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mike’s honor to the Tidewell Hospice, 2504 34th Ave West,
Bradenton, Florida 34205; or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; or to the Boys and Girls Club of Swroanoke, 1714 9 th
Street SE, Roanoke, VA 54013.

Born on July 7, 1962, in Mason City, Iowa, Mike is the son of Thomas D. Pedelty of Clear Lake and Mary Helen
(Cookman) Pedelty of Mason City. He was raised in the lakeside town of Clear Lake, Iowa—a place he always considered
the most beautiful small town on Earth. There, he spent his youth working on the family farm, leading the Clear Lake
High School marching band, running cross country, performing in theater productions, and swimming in the lake he
loved. He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1981 and in 1986 earned a Bachelor of Science in
Advertising/Public Relations from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK

Just two weeks after graduation, Mike married his high school sweetheart, Kristi Molinsky, on May 24, 1986, in Clear
Lake. Kristi had noticed Mike back when she was in sixth grade, and together they built a marriage rooted in love, faith,
and adventure that spanned 39 years and many cities across the country.

Mike’s career in public relations began in Austin, Minnesota, and led him through roles in Lafayette, Louisiana, and Palm
Desert, California. He eventually found his calling in the cable and communications industry, working for Cox, Time
Warner Cable, and Mediacom before becoming the Senior Director of Field Communications for Charter
Communications, serving in Cincinnati, Ohio, and St. Petersburg, Florida. Along the way, he earned numerous industry
accolades and cultivated friendships that lasted a lifetime.

A lifelong runner, Mike began racing in middle school and went on to complete marathons, half-marathons, 10Ks, and
5Ks across the U.S. He also enjoyed biking, golfing, boating, and following Drum Corps— writing show highlight
columns for its magazine, Drum Corp World.

Above all, Mike’s greatest pride and joy were his three sons. He believed they were his life’s greatest accomplishment and
rarely missed a moment of their games, performances, and achievements. His faith and generous spirit guided all he did.
He and Kristi were active in church couple’s groups and community service, including his time on the board of directors
for the Boys and Girls Club of the Roanoke Valley.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife Kristi of Palmetto, FL; sons Quinn of Columbus, OH; Evan (fiancé Selena West) of
Loveland, OH; and Noah of Los Angeles, CA; his mother Mary Helen Meyers (Doug) of Clear Lake; siblings Kathy
Lloyd (Dan) and Don Pedelty (Becky), all of Clear Lake, and Vic Pedelty of Minneapolis, MN; mother-in-law Jan
Molinsky of Clear Lake; and brother-in-law Brad Molinsky (Jonathan) of Bloomfield, CT. He is also survived by many
loving aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Pedelty, and father-in-law, Dean Molinsky.
