A Dazzling Show Will Fill the Sky Tonight
The later you stay up tonight, or the earlier you get up tomorrow, will give you a better chance to see a dazzling show in the sky.
One time per year, the Perseid Meteor Shower fills the skies, and that will happen tonight into tomorrow morning. Michael Martin is an astronomer with Late Night Astronomy:
Martin says going outside around 11:00 PM is the best time to see the shower, and also get some sleep, but adds the later you stay up, the better it will be:
Typically, you’d be able to see up to 100 metros per hour on a good year, but Martin says that won’t be the case this year:
