MASON CITY — Tim Latham has announced he’ll be running for another term on the Mason City City Council.
Latham was elected in November 2023 to one of the two at-large seats on the council after the death of Tom Thoma. Latham previously served on the Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors.
Latham in a written statement says after thoughtful consideration, he believes he can best serve the people of Mason City by continuing his current role on the council.
The filing period for municipal and school board elections in November opens next Monday, with the deadline to file being September 18th.
