LAKE MILLS — A Lake Mills man has been arrested for child sexual abuse.
A criminal complaint filed in Winnebago County District Court accuses 18-year-old Owen Flatness of second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
The complaint states that on August 17th, the Lake Mills Police Department took a complaint of a sexual assault of a 12-year-old, who was later interviewed at the Allen Child Protection Center in Waterloo.
The complaint says when interviewed, Flatness admitted to committing the alleged abuse.
Flatness is due in court for his preliminary hearing on August 29th.
