Entry ramp for Interstate 35 at US Highway 18 in Clear Lake to close on Tuesday for construction

CLEAR LAKE — The Iowa Department of Transportation is advising motorists that the southbound Interstate 35 entrance ramp at US Highway 18 in Clear Lake will be closed starting next Tuesday.

The DOT says it’s part of the final stage of construction work on the interstate between exits 193 and 194.

The DOT is encouraging everyone to follow the marked detour while the ramp is closed.

It’s anticipated that the ramp closure and detour will be in place until the end of October or early November.
