Mason City police still searching for missing woman

MASON CITY — Mason City police are still searching for a woman who was reported missing over the weekend.
34-year-old Kaylin Ingersoll was last seen on Friday morning in the 500 block of South Tennessee Place. Ingersoll is a white female, 5-foot-4-inches tall. She was last seen wearing pajama pants and a yellow shirt. Authorities say she left her phone behind and had no vehicle, and that family and friends say there may be medical concerns and they are also concerned about her welfare.
An updated social media post by the Mason City Police Department on Sunday stated they had received a few tips so far, with surveillance video being able to rule out most of the tips as someone else, but that one lead that they are continuing to follow up on was that she was seen possibly hitchhiking near State Highway 122 and Lark Avenue on Friday.
If you have any information, you are asked to contact the Mason City Police Department at 641-421-3636.
