Klemme man accused of dealing meth gets two days in jail on lesser charge

KLEMME — A Klemme man originally charged with dealing methamphetamine has been sentenced to two days in jail on a lesser charge.
A criminal complaint stated a search warrant was executed at the residence of 43-year-old Jon Renner back on June 24th of last year as part of an investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine. Law enforcement says while they were searching the residence, they located more than nine grams of meth, a digital scale with meth residue on it, meth and marijuana paraphernalia, about 28 grams of marijuana, and more than $1000 in cash.
Renner was originally charged with: intent to manufacture or deliver meth over five grams, a Class B felony; as well as possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver marijuana and failure to affix a drug tax stamp, both Class D felonies.
As part of a plea agreement, Renner recently pleaded guilty to possession of meth first offense and was sentenced to two days in jail on the serious misdemeanor charge.
