Veterans Day celebration takes place Tuesday in Central Park in Mason City, city offices closed

MASON CITY — Veterans Day is this coming Tuesday. In Mason City, a Veterans Day celebration will take place at 10:45 AM at the Veterans Monument in Central Park.

City offices will be closed on Tuesday in observance of the holiday. City transit buses will be operating that day. City sanitation services will not be collected on Tuesday, with the make-up day for garbage, yard waste and recycling services for those that normally have pick-up on Tuesday being Wednesday, November 12th.
