Wright County Charitable Foundation Addresses the County Supervisors
The Wright County Board of Supervisors were briefed about the current status of the Wright County Charitable Foundation. The organization did not ask for money from the board and Lennea Groom, president of the foundation reported that they were excited about the coming year.
The foundation gives grants to non-profits, schools, and government agencies in Wright County which are approved by the foundations board.
The grant committee members will change every year so that it is not the same members each year. According to Groom, this is not the only committee involved in choosing recipients.
Groom reported that the foundation is doing well financially thanks to the help from area donors.
