I-35, US 18 closed due to impassable road conditions

Interstate 35 is closed in both directions from U.S. Highway 30 (Exit 111) to U.S. Highway 18 (Exit 194) due to impassable road conditions caused by severe weather.

Officials say the roadway will remain closed until conditions improve. Motorists are being advised to avoid travel unless it is for emergency purposes.

U.S. Highway 18 is also closed in both directions from I-35 at mile marker 190 to U.S. Highway 65 (Exit 186) due to impassable conditions.

Drivers are urged to stay off the roads and check for updates as the storm continues.
