MBT Bank is pleased to announce the hire of Nate Bastian as Vice President, Senior Loan Officer. He will be working in both Forest City, Iowa and Blooming Prairie, Minnesota locations. In his role, he will assume responsibility for overseeing the Bank’s loan portfolio.
Bastian brings over 14 years of lending experience, most recently serving as Market President for United Prairie Bank in Waseca & Owatonna. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Ag Business Management from SMSU in Marshall, MN.
“We are excited to have Nate take the leadership role in managing and growing our lending relationships in our Minnesota and Iowa markets. His farming background and commercial underwriting experience are complimentary to the position.” said Dennis Busta, CEO & President.
Bastian resides in Blooming Prairie with his wife, Resha, and their sons, Brooks and Taven. He currently serves as treasurer for the Owatonna Business Development and previously served on a variety of community boards.
