Iowa Gas Prices Dip Again, GasBuddy Reports

Average gasoline prices across Iowa fell again over the past week, dropping 3 cents per gallon to $2.31, according to a GasBuddy survey of more than 2,000 stations statewide.
GasBuddy reported Iowa drivers are now paying 27.4 cents less than they were a month ago and 43.8 cents less than this time last year.
Diesel prices also continued to ease nationally. GasBuddy said the national average price of diesel fell 2.3 cents over the past week to $3.50 per gallon.
Prices continue to vary widely depending on where motorists fill up across the state. GasBuddy data showed the lowest price reported Wednesday in Iowa was $1.88 per gallon, while the highest was $3.29 — a spread of $1.41 per gallon.
