Waldorf’s Cloey Dmytruk wins GPAC Player of the Week
The Senior from St. Paul Set a New Career High and Waldorf Record

Senior Cloey Dmytruk of the Waldorf Women’s Basketball Team is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball offensive player-of-the-week. The senior forward from St. Paul, Minnesota set a new career high in points scored in the 77-49 win last Saturday at College of Saint Mary (NE). In the game, Dmytruk had 39 points on 15-21 from the floor. She also was 5-8 from three point range, and 4-7 from the free throw line. Additionally, she secured a double-double in the contest, pulling down 10 rebounds, four of which came on the offensive end. She added two assists, two steals, and one block in the game as well. In a loss earlier in the week, Dmytruk had 19 points and 9 rebounds against 2-time defending NAIA National Champions Dordt University.
On the season, Dmytruk is averaging a team high 18.1 points per game over a team high 35.5 minutes per game. She’s also shooting 43.4 % from the floor and 41.8 % from three point range. She adds a team high 7.3 rebounds per game and a team high 1.1 block per game on the season as well.
Dmytruck’s 39 points in the win over College of Saint Mary (NE) set a new Waldorf Women’s Basketball school record in scoring for a single game as a four year institution.
