Riverhawk Girls Bowling Tops Marshalltown on the Road

MARSHALLTOWN — The Riverhawk varsity girls bowling team continued its strong season Tuesday night, rolling to a 2,392–2,032 victory over Marshalltown at Wayward Lanes. The win improved the Riverhawks to 5–2 on the season, while Marshalltown fell to 2–4.

Riverhawk seniors led the way, with Grace Wilson posting a team-high 418 series after games of 205 and 213. Kylie Novak was close behind, delivering a consistent performance with games of 200 and 211 for a 411 total.

Madison Hughes added 279 pins (125, 154), while Abrianna Collins followed with a 277 series after rolling games of 125 and 152. Raeanna Traurig contributed 240 pins (122, 118), and Brianna Noling rounded out the varsity scoring with a 221 series (106, 115).

The junior varsity squad bowled unopposed on the night. Freshman Aubrey Lingbeek paced the JV lineup with a 252 series, rolling games of 127 and 125. Fellow freshman Kai Teitz finished with a 152 total (76, 76), while senior Graceleigh Bolinger recorded a 149 series with games of 100 and 49.

The Riverhawks will look to carry the momentum forward as they continue conference play later this week.
