Clear Lake Bank & Trust Collects Over 500 Food Donations During Holiday Food Drive

CLEAR LAKE — Clear Lake Bank & Trust collected more than 500 food items and over $1,000 in monetary donations this holiday season to benefit Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank and 5 Loaves 2 Fish Food Bank.
The donations were gathered as part of the bank’s “Shop Small, Shop Local” campaign, which supports community organizations and local families in need throughout North Iowa.
“The holidays are such a wonderful time of the year, but we also know they can be extremely hard for many people,” said Paul Stevenson, president of Clear Lake Bank & Trust. “Being able to band together as an organization to give back and help those in our local community means everything. We are proud to do our part.”
Donations were collected across all four Clear Lake Bank & Trust locations and totaled more than 500 pounds of food, helping to provide meals for individuals and families throughout the region.
“I’m continually proud of the way our employees and our communities step up to help those who need it most,” said Mark Hewitt, CEO of Clear Lake Bank & Trust. “We’ll continue to pour into our North Iowa neighbors beyond this holiday season, because we know the need doesn’t disappear after the holidays.”
Clear Lake Bank & Trust encourages the public to follow the bank on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X for additional announcements and community updates.
Clear Lake Bank & Trust has served North Iowa since 1934 and operates locations in Clear Lake, Garner, and two Mason City offices, providing agricultural, commercial, and residential real estate lending throughout North Central Iowa.
