Britt Community Blood Drive set for February 6th

BRITT — Area residents will have an opportunity to help save lives when the Britt Community Blood Drive takes place on Friday, Feb. 6, at the Britt Municipal Building.
The blood drive will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the municipal building, located at 170 Main Ave. S. Walk-ins are welcome throughout the day, and donors can also schedule an appointment in advance through LifeServe Blood Center.
The event is being held under the theme “Strong Hearts Start With You,” highlighting the critical role local donors play in maintaining a safe and reliable blood supply for hospitals and patients across the region.
LifeServe Blood Center encourages eligible donors to participate, noting that blood donations support patients undergoing surgery, cancer treatments, trauma care, and other lifesaving medical needs. Each donation can help multiple patients.
Appointments can be scheduled by calling 800-287-4903, texting LIFESERVE to 515-815-7242, or visiting the LifeServe Blood Center website. Additional information and scheduling options are also available via the QR code on event materials.
Organizers say community support is essential to meeting local blood needs and encourage anyone who is able to consider donating during the Britt drive.
