Congressional candidate Christian Schlaefer to host meet-and-greet in Lakota

LAKOTA — Area residents are invited to meet congressional candidate Christian Schlaefer during a public meet-and-greet event planned for Sunday, Jan. 18, at the Eagle Center in Lakota.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eagle Center, 401 Smith Street, and is open to the public. According to event information, free hot chicken sandwiches will be served during the gathering.
The meet-and-greet offers community members an opportunity to visit directly with Schlaefer, hear about his campaign, and discuss issues important to the region. Promotional materials describe the event as focused on “fighting for what it truly means to be an American.”
No reservations are required, and organizers encourage residents from Lakota and surrounding communities to attend, enjoy a meal, and take part in the conversation.
The event is part of Schlaefer’s outreach efforts as he campaigns for a congressional seat.
