Waldorf’s Conner Aldridge Named GPAC Offensive Player of the Week
The sophomore helped the Warriors pick up their first GPAC victory

Waldorf Men’s Basketball sophomore Conner Aldridge is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Aldridge was honored for his performances is games taking place between January 5 thru 12.
Aldridge, a sophomore forward from Goodyear, Arizona, scored over 20 points in the Warriors two games last week, including a team high 26 in the Warriors 83-82 win at Doane University on Saturday. That victory was the Warriors first GPAC conference win of the year. In the game, Aldridge shot a blistering 10-of-13 from the floor, including 2-of-3 from three point range. He was also a perfect 4 for 4 from the free throw line. He added 5 rebounds and 2 steals as well. Earlier in the week in a loss to Hastings, Aldridge had a team high 23 points on 8-of-14 from the floor with 3 three-pointers. He was also 4-of-6 from the free throw line in that contest with 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal as well.
On the season so far, Aldridge leads the Warriors with 19.3 points per game and is shooting 51.4% from the field, 37.4% from three, and 81.8% from the free throw line. He also leads the team with 4.6 rebounds per game, and is second on the team with 1.5 steals per game.
Conner and the rest of the Warriors will look to keep the momentum going on Wednesday night when the Warriors travel to play Dakota Wesleyan on the road at 6:45 PM. The Warriors return home on Saturday for a women’s and men’s doubleheader with Midland University. The women start things off with the tip-off scheduled for 2 PM. The men’s game will follow at around 3:45 PM.
