Community Pantry Drive Returns to Britt with 400-Item Goal

BRITT — Community members are invited to help fight food insecurity during the 9th Annual Pantry Drive, scheduled to run from Jan. 1 through Jan. 29, 2026, in Britt.

Organizers have set a goal of collecting 400 food items to support individuals and families in need through the Britt Area Food Bank. The annual drive brings the community together to donate non-perishable food items and monetary contributions.

Donations may be dropped off at Victory Chiropractic, located at 233 Main Ave. N. in Britt. Organizers noted the drop-off location is closed on Fridays.

Accepted food donations include non-perishable, unexpired items, such as goods packaged in boxes, jars, cans, and pouches. Monetary donations are also being accepted and should be made payable to the Britt Area Food Bank.

Organizers said the pantry drive is an opportunity for residents to make a positive impact on neighbors facing food insecurity, particularly during the winter months when demand for food assistance often increases.

Community members are encouraged to contribute throughout the month-long drive to help reach the 400-item goal and support local food pantry efforts.
