Collins Leads Riverhawks to Road Win Over Ames

Senior co-captain Abri Collins delivered a standout performance to lead the Riverhawk bowling team to a road victory over Ames on Tuesday night at Perfect Lanes in Ames.
Collins rolled games of 175 and 203, finishing with a career-high series of 420, as the Riverhawks defeated the Little Cyclones 2546–2086. The win improves the Riverhawks to 7–2 on the season, while Ames falls to 8–7.
Riverhawk seniors paced the scoring throughout the match. Grace Wilson added a solid 182 and 157 for a total of 339, while Madison Hughes followed with 188 and 140 to finish at 328. Kylie Novak also contributed consistently, rolling 147 and 180 for a 327 series.
Rounding out the varsity lineup, Emily Bailey totaled 280 (145, 135), and freshman Aubrey Lingbeek added 267 with games of 126 and 141.
The Riverhawks also saw strong efforts at the junior varsity level. Brianna Noling led the JV squad with a 275 series (138, 137), followed by Raeanna Traurig at 248 (115, 133) and Graceleigh Bolinger with 216 (118, 98).
With balanced scoring and leadership from its senior core, the Riverhawks continue to build momentum as the season moves forward.
