MercyOne is issuing another round of layoffs in Iowa, affecting employees at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.
According to the Iowa WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) system, 34 workers were notified on Jan. 26 that their positions are being eliminated. The layoffs are set to take effect March 17.
This marks the third round of MercyOne layoffs in Iowa in recent weeks.
