Ollenburg Announces Run for State Representative in District 60

CLEAR LAKE — Dani Ollenburg has announced her candidacy for Iowa House of Representatives in District 60.
Ollenburg, a North Iowa community member, said she is seeking the seat to represent the interests of District 60 residents and bring what she describes as positive change to the Iowa Legislature.
A lifelong Iowan, Ollenburg is married to her husband, Rex, and is the mother of three children: Piper, 20; Keely, 18; and Knox, 11. She previously worked as a licensed healthcare provider before focusing on raising her family and homeschooling over the past six years. According to her announcement, she has also worked on campaigns at various levels of government.
In her campaign, Ollenburg said she plans to prioritize defending property rights against abuses of eminent domain, supporting school choice so families can select public, private or homeschool options, and upholding pro-life policies in the legislature. She also cited limited government, fiscal responsibility, accountability and transparency to taxpayers as key principles.
Ollenburg said she is committed to listening to constituents, remaining accessible, and representing the district with integrity and Republican values.
District 60 includes portions of North Iowa. The election will take place later this year.
