Another Week, Another Price Hike For Gas Locally And In Iowa

Average gas prices in Iowa have risen nearly 9 cents per gallon in the past week. A gallon of gas now averages $2.55, according to GasBuddy’s survey of more than 2,000 stations across the state. Prices are 3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and 42 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Iowa was $2.09 per gallon Sunday.
