Woman Arrested After Alleged Thefts from Clear Lake Hotel Guest Rooms

CLEAR LAKE — A Clear Lake hotel employee has been arrested after authorities say she stole items from guest rooms at the hotel where she worked.

According to the Clear Lake Police Department, officers received multiple reports in November 2025 and January 2026 regarding items missing from rooms at the Best Western Holiday Lodge.

Police executed a search warrant at a residence in Swaledale on Feb. 23. As a result of the search, 44-year-old Tara Ann Bohr was arrested.

Bohr faces three counts of third-degree theft and is currently being held at the Cerro Gordo County Jail.

Authorities say several items previously reported stolen were recovered during the search. The investigation remains ongoing.
