Greater Mason City Chamber to Host 2026 Ag Breakfast March 26

MASON CITY, IA — The Greater Mason City Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Ag Breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at the All Seasons Building on the North Iowa Events Center grounds. Doors will open at 7 a.m., with a complimentary breakfast served beginning at 7:30 a.m. by Chamber volunteers.

The Ag Breakfast is an annual event aimed at bringing together members of the agricultural and business communities for a morning of connection, conversation and education. This year’s theme, “Farm to Table,” will focus on how local farms and businesses collaborate to bring fresh, locally sourced food from the field to consumers’ tables.

Featured panelists will include representatives from Twisted River Farm, Skyview Market, Clarion Locker and Healthy Harvest of North Iowa. The panel will share insights and experiences on building successful farm-to-table partnerships throughout North Iowa. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig will also be a featured guest at the event.

In addition to the panel discussion, the Chamber and will present the Farmer of the Year award and recognize an FFA Rising Star. The event will also spotlight recipients of the Agribusiness Scholarship through the NIACC Foundation and the Greater Mason City Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Senior Scholarship.

The Ag Breakfast is free and open to the public thanks to the support of event sponsors. The Chamber’s Agribusiness Committee said it is committed to ensuring the event is accessible to anyone in North Iowa who is interested in learning more about agriculture and its impact on the region. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit sponsor booths during the breakfast.

The Greater Mason City Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based organization dedicated to promoting progressive community and economic development to benefit its members and the North Iowa region.
