Hancock County Legislative Forums Scheduled for March 20

HANCOCK COUNTY — Residents will have two opportunities to hear directly from their state lawmakers during the upcoming Hancock County Legislative Forums on Friday, March 20, 2026.

The forums are designed to provide community members with updates from Iowa legislators and the chance to engage in discussion on key issues affecting the area.

The first forum will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Garner Public Library. A second session will take place later that afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Britt City Hall.

State Sen. Dennis Guth and State Rep. Mark Thompson are scheduled to participate.

Organizers encourage residents to attend, stay informed, and get involved in discussions about legislative priorities and community concerns.

The 2026 Legislative Forums are co-sponsored by the Garner Chamber of Commerce, Hancock County Economic Development, and the Britt Chamber of Commerce.
