Man Sentenced in Cerro Gordo County Child Sex Abuse Case Dating Back to 2010

A Cedar Falls man will serve prison time for child sex crimes committed more than a decade ago in Cerro Gordo County.
Isaia Weber, 43, was accused of engaging in sex acts with a child under the age of 13 on four separate occasions between June 2010 and December 2013. Authorities say three of the incidents occurred at a home in Mason City, while a fourth took place in the parking lot of a Mason City business.
Weber was originally charged with four counts of second-degree sexual abuse. A criminal complaint was filed July 31, 2025, and an arrest warrant was subsequently issued.
As part of a plea agreement, Weber pleaded guilty to two reduced charges of lascivious acts with a child.
He has been sentenced to a prison term of up to 10 years. Upon release, Weber will be required to register as a sex offender.
