Wolftornabane To Hold Town Halls in Kossuth, Winnebago Counties

STORM LAKE, IA — April 2, 2026 — Ashley WolfTornabane, a candidate for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District, has announced plans to host two town hall events in Kossuth and Winnebago counties later this month as part of her campaign’s ongoing outreach efforts.
The town halls are scheduled for Saturday, April 11, with the first taking place from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Algona Public Library, Meeting Room A, located at 210 N. Phillips Street. A second event will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Shooterz Bar and Grill, 1126 U.S. Highway 69 in Forest City. Attendees at the Forest City event are welcome to dine before or during the town hall.
WolfTornabane said the events are designed to encourage open dialogue with residents across the district.
“I hope people from all political backgrounds come,” she said. “I want to listen to what issues are most important to everyday Iowans because I want to represent everyone within the 4th District. Additionally, voters can ask me anything.”
The candidate said the goal of the town halls is to give attendees an opportunity to hear directly from her campaign, ask questions, and share their priorities.
The Algona and Forest City stops are part of WolfTornabane’s broader 36-county Listening Tour. Through the initiative, she aims to hold at least one town hall in each county within the 4th District ahead of the June 2 primary election.
WolfTornabane said her campaign is focused on addressing government accountability and economic concerns.
“I want to focus on policies that would stop corruption in our government, such as prohibiting congressmembers from trading stocks, and making life more affordable for the average American,” she said. “That includes enacting universal healthcare and a sustainable, equitable minimum wage.”
She also emphasized support for agriculture and environmental priorities.
“Additionally, we need policies that favor our small and midsized family farmers and clean up our water,” WolfTornabane said. “My goal is a Happier, Healthier Iowa.”
Residents from across the region are encouraged to attend either event.
