Missing North Iowa Female Juvenile Found Safe in Minnesota

A missing north Iowa juvenile has been found safe in Minnesota.
Mason City Police distributed notification just after 10:30 am Friday (04.17) that authorities were looking to locate 16-year-old Hudsen Marie Johnson. MCPD said Johnson was placed at the Mason City Youth Shelter at about 3:30 pm on April 1st, and was reported missing shortly after she was admitted.
While Johnson is not from Mason City, she was known to be in the Mason City area recently. She is “street-wise” but also at high risk for being victimized. She has also used a fake name of “Yuri” and claims to be from Korea, though she is not from Korea.
Less than two hours after MCPD issued the missing person report, an update just before 12:30 pm Friday indicated she was located in Minnesota, with arrangements being made to return her to Iowa.
