Women United Luncheon Debuts at NIACC with Strong Community Support

The United Way of North Central Iowa celebrated a successful first Women United Luncheon on Tuesday, held at the Muse-Norris Center on the NIACC campus, bringing together community members passionate about making a meaningful impact.

Attendees gathered for an inspiring afternoon focused on connection, learning, and service. The event highlighted the mission of Women United and encouraged participants to explore ways they can support local initiatives that strengthen the community.

A special thank you goes out to everyone who attended and helped make the inaugural luncheon such a success. The event was generously sponsored by Alyse Hesley of Thrivent, whose support played a key role in bringing the gathering to life.

Looking ahead, Women United is excited to continue building momentum. The next event is scheduled for July 15, where participants will have the opportunity to give back in a hands-on way by packing teacher survival kits—an engaging and impactful effort to support local educators.

For those who missed the first luncheon, future events promise more opportunities to connect, serve, and make a difference.
