Roger Dale Westover

Clear Lake-Roger Dale Westover, 87, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Good Shepherd Health Care Center in Mason City, Iowa. Private services will be held at a later date.

Roger was born November 3, 1938, in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Glenn and Lucile (Crozier) Westover. He graduated from Clear Lake High School and later enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving until his honorable discharge.

Roger was united in marriage to Marilyn Jensen in December of 1960; to this union one daughter, Tamara, was born. He worked for many years as a painter for an auto body shop. Roger enjoyed collecting and learning about World War II memorabilia. He loved antiquing and always enjoyed his Red Dog beer! Roger enjoyed day trips with Marilyn and Tammy along with her friends.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Tammy Boeshart of Clear Lake, Iowa; his brother, Allan Westover of Minnesota; one niece and three nephews along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Lucile Westover; his wife, Marilyn Westover; and his son-in-law, Jeff Boeshart.
