For many years, Diane worked as a financial office manager at Comprehensive Systems in Charles City, where she built lasting friendships and was known for her dedication and warm personality.

Diane had a bright smile, contagious laughter, and dance moves that could light up any room. She loved playing cards and games with family and friends, traveling to fun places, cruising in their classic cars, and creating joyful memories with those around her. Her strong faith remained a guiding force throughout her life and gave her strength through every season.

Even during her journey with dementia in her later years, Diane’s fun loving spirit continued to shine brightly. Her smile, playful personality, and dancing brought joy not only to her family, but also to the staff and caregivers who adored and compassionately cared for her.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City, which basically means he’s been corn‑fed and radio‑bred since day one. As a kid, he was always caught singing along to the radio — and while he’ll tell you he’s great at karaoke, let’s just say the audience’s ears often file a noise complaint. When he’s not busy butchering ‘80s power ballads, Chris enjoys starting overly ambitious home projects that rarely make it past the “great idea” stage. He lives in Charles City with his endlessly patient wife Vicki and their kids, Brynlee and Jaxon, who have already perfected the art of the eye‑roll every time Dad cracks another “dad joke.”
