Fair season is just a few short weeks away and already planning for the event is ramping up. Winnebago County Fair President Tom Thompson remains very busy with something he is very passionate about.
One of the hallmarks of a fair is the carnival, but there are fewer carnival companies that are available than in the past.
Entertainment is also key and this year a popular favorite returns according to Thompson.
Thompson also said that there were other acts that were booked for this years fair.
The Winnebago County Fair is about a month away in Thompson.
