Mason City Sanitation Pickup Delayed to Wednesday for Labor Day Holiday

MASON CITY — Garbage and recycling will not be collected Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of the Labor Day holiday, according to the city’s Sanitation Division.

Customers who normally receive Monday pickup will instead have their garbage and recyclables collected Wednesday, Sept. 9, as a make-up day.

All other collection days for the week are expected to proceed as scheduled.
