Mason City’s East State, Pennsylvania Intersection to Reopen by Oct. 3

MASON CITY, Iowa — The intersection of East State Street and Pennsylvania Avenue remains closed to traffic because of weather conditions and is scheduled to reopen by Saturday, Oct. 3, the city of Mason City said Wednesday.

The remaining work on the Pennsylvania Avenue project includes pavement markings and signage.

The city said it will continue to provide updates as the project progresses.

The city thanked travelers for their patience as community improvements continue.
